According to the Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), India's auto production is 1737548 units in May, fell 4.1% year on year.
Two months before the fiscal year (20130401-20140331), India's car sales fell 0.6% year on year; passenger car sales fell 8.56% year-on-year in April and May, commercial vehicle sales fell 5.2% year on year.
In addition, India's car industry exports also fell in April and May, fell 8.6%. The commercial vehicle exports fell 19.6%, while passenger car exports year-on-year growth of 7.3%, slightly offset the decline in exports of commercial vehicles.
