Alloy Surcharge for Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Products May Decrease by EUR 100 Per Tonne

It is reported that the alloy surcharge for 304 grade cold rolled stainless steel products may decrease by EUR 100 per tonne in December 2012 due to lower nickel prices.

According to market insiders, however, it's expected that the steelmakers may raise the base prices for stainless steel products in February 2013 if the nickel prices continue to stay at the current level.

Also, it's predicted that the base prices for stainless steel products may remain stable during December 2012 through January 2013.
