Russia's Ferrous Metal Exports Increased by 11.9 Percent Year

According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat), in the January-November period of the last year Russia's ferrous metal exports increased by 11.9 percent year on year to 35.668 million mt, including 3.6 million mt of pig iron, down 2.1 percent year on year. The total value of Russia's ferrous metal exports in January-November last year was $20.766 billion, up 3.9 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the given period Russia registered an 11.2 percent increase year on year in its ferrous metal imports to 5.936 million mt, with a total value of $5.8 billion.
