Corinth Pipeworks Will Build Large-Diameter Welded Pipes

It is reported that Greek pipmaker, Corinth Pipeworks, has announced to build large-diameter welded pipes in order to meet the growing demand for energy supplies projects includes high strength offshore and onshore energy pipes. Meanwhile, the new plant will commission by SMS Meer at the beginning of 2015 and it learns to produce pipes with outside diameter of 18-53 inches, wall thickness up to 40mm and length of up to 18.3 meters respectively. The company also indicated that the new mill's annual pipe production capacity is designed to 400,000 tons.
