Giant Manufacturing's revenue for the first two quarters of this year totaled $906 million, a 4 percent increase over the same period last year. According to a statement released by the Taiwan trade group TAITRA, Giant's founder and president King Liu?is looking to sales in the Chinese market for future growth. Giant was one of the first companies in the industry to establish a factory in China.
Now that the standard of living in China is steadily rising, the demand for higher quality bicycles is surging, Liu said. Giant now has more than 2,500 dealerships in China.
