China's industry used over 1.16 trillion kilowatt hours of electric power in the first four months this year, rising by 4.7 percent year on year; industry used 308.3 billion kilowatt hours of power in April, gaining by 7.7 percent year on year, according to a report by the China Electricity Council.
The country's manufacturing used 858.4 billion kilowatt hours of electric power in the first four months, up 4.7 percent year on year; April consumption was 235.4 billion kilowatt hours, up 5.4 percent year on year; average one-day consumption was 7.85 billion kilowatt hours, an all-time one-day high.
