Taiwan's Industrial Production Index in November This Year Climbed by 5.85 Percent

According to the country's Ministry of Economic Affairs,Taiwan's industrial production index in November this year climbed by 5.85 percent as compared to November 2011,after rising by a revised 4.8 percent year on year in October,and was down 1.4%month on month.In November,Taiwan's monthly industrial output increased for the fifth straight month on year on year basis.

In November this year,industrial output in basic metal manufacturing increased by 7.2%and output of metal product manufacturing surged by 2.3%both compared with November 2011.However,the two sector saw four percent and 0.2%declines respectively on month on month basis.The respective decrease rates in the January to November period were registered at 5.2%and four 4 year on year.

Meanwhile,in November,production in Taiwan's machinery and equipment industry fell by 7.8%output in the automotive industry decreased by 2.2%while production in the Taiwanese construction sector increased by 35%all compared to November 2011.
