FleetPride, a US-based supplier of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, has acquired the Drake Supply Company including its assets in the US.
The company expects to enhance its customer service with the acquisition of the supply company, its branch locations and product focus.
FleetPride President and COO Lee Stockseth said: "This acquisition expands FleetPride's reach into key markets of Southern California including rail yards, Port of Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire."
The company has offered the employees to continue their employment in the same positions in its six locations at Southern California, Commerce, Fontana, Long Beach, Ontario and Perris.
FleetPride chairman and CEO W.M. McGee said that California is an extremely large and dense market for the heavy-duty trucking industry.
"Expertise and customer service are key to success here," McGee added.
