Bosch Packaging Technology is set to unveil its new Manesty TPR 500 tablet press equipped with various novelties such as a die table, torque drive and tablet discharge chute, as well as a human machine interface (HMI).
The new 56-station die table installed in the machine will allow it to produce around 400,000 tablets per hour, and True Flow tablet discharge with its easy-to-clean pneumatic gate mechanism ensures the smooth delivery of tablets.
Siemens torque drive, which is connected directly to the turret, helps in achieving high torque at low revolutions per minute, while off-the-shelf Beckhoff controls paired with a 21-inch HMI provides better operations and easy machine set-up.
Bosch Packaging Technology pharma product division business development director Christian Treitel said the Manesty TPR 500 offers customers the highest machine quality combined with excellent usability.
"Reduced maintenance efforts and overall ease of use lower the Total Cost of Ownership and make the TPR 500 particularly suitable for customers with flexible requirements," Treitel added.
