ResMed, a developer of products for the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing and respiratory conditions, has introduced Quattro Air full face mask in the US.
Built for comfort and convenience, the Quattro Air mask is a light weight mask that covers the complete face, weighing 3.3 ounces, and featuring four parts in order to disassemble for cleaning and maintaining.
ResMed sleep-disordered breathing vice president Jon Yerbury said, "ResMed invested more than $100 million in research and development last year and it's evidenced by the innovation in our products that always put the patient first."
"For some patients, a full face mask is their only option, but the size and weight of the mask can be intimidating," Yerbury added.
The air mask features an Enhanced dual-wall Spring Air cushion, Flex-wing forehead support, SoftEdge headgear design, Circular diffuse vent, and One-piece elbow, swivel and anti-asphyxia valve.
Enhanced dual-wall Spring Air cushion delivering comfort at the nasal bridge area and proprietary scalloped cut-out at the chin for a high-performance seal; Flex-wing forehead support offers easy adjustments and stability, eliminating the need for forehead pads;
SoftEdge headgear design is a rolled-edge fabric that improves comfort and reduces facial marks and comes in two colors; Circular diffuse vent that gently directs air away from the patient and bed partner; and One-piece elbow, swivel and anti-asphyxia valve with squeeze-tabs that make attaching and detaching the mask from the tube quick and easy.
Ultra-soft and latex-free, Quattro Air is available in three parts for women along with ResMed's For Her pink headgear. It is also available in three sizes for men.
