They are used in such applications where hazardous substances are more frequently used. For example: cross contamination is unacceptable in water treatment sector and chemical dosing is required in it. Hence plastic dual valves are used in them. Dual containment pipes are also used in bunded storage tanks which is beneficial for extending integrity and security to the pipe system.
Dual containment pipe works is a cost affective solution and this reason of growing demand of these valves. It utilizes volatile metallic components and pipes. Installation of dual containment pipe works is a continuous single process, Whereas traditional systems require more time and more labor in fitting.
