Web handling products provider Maxcess is set to showcase a range of precision roll technologies at this year’s NPE event in Orlando, US, which will be held from 7 to 11 May.
At the event, the company will unveil technologies from Webex, Valley Roller, Menges Roller and Componex, for the plastics industry.
Webex and Menges rollers are heat transfer, vacuum and idler rolls, while Valley Roller is a rubber compound roller, and Componex includes WINerti products with dead shaft idler.
The company will also showcase its Fife sensor technology, Tidland control series electronic knifeholder at the event.
Maxcess precision rolls global product manager Darren Irons said: “NPE is a great opportunity for our precision roll brands of Webex, Valley Roller, Menges Roller and Componex to connect with our plastics processing customers, including those involved in sheet extrusion and cast film.”
Maxcess CEO Greg Jehlik said: “In addition, we have numerous innovations for web handling applications that will be on display at NPE and are eager to showcase them to our valued customers.”
In September 2017, Maxcess launched two new Fife sensors at the Labelexpo Europe event in Belgium.
The new DSE digital sensors include a built-in LED display that shows web position, while SE-26B uses LED light source that can provide around 100,000 lifetime hours.
Maxcess produces various Fife sensors, including DSE-17, SE-11, SE-22, SE-23, SE-30 edge averaging sensor, SE-32 fiber-optic sensor and others.
DSE-17 is a digital wide proportional band infrared sensor that can be used for applications where opacity or density variations may occur.
Fife SE-11 is said to be firm’s smallest infrared sensor, while SE-22 is an edge guide sensor and SE-23 is a combination of compact design and wide band versatility.
