Amazon's Black Friday event has already kicked off, and today we've got another discount worth checking out.
The retailer has knocked a hefty £30 off the price of its Kindle Paperwhite, meaning you can pick up this stellar e-reader for just £79.99.
Amazon's Paperwhite comes with a super-sharp 300ppi (pixels per inch) display to match its Kindle Voyage brother, plus the 6-inch screen is backlit so you can read in low light.
The matte, soft-touch plastic design has plenty of grip and it’s narrow enough to hold in one hand comfortably, so you should be able to get through your e-books with ease.

There are two models of the Paperwhite, one that comes with Wi-Fi and 3G and one that comes with Wi-Fi only. The £79.99 price refers to the latter.
You'll also have to put up with ads if you go for the £79.99 offer, but luckily the ad-free version of the Paperwhite is also discounted, and can be picked up for £89.99.
Those looking to pick up the Wi-Fi and 3G model without ads will pay £149.99 – another saving of £30.
