Following the result – as voted for by primary school teachers across the UK – the firm is turning its attention to promoting ways the LeapReader can support and reinforce literacy techniques in the home.
LeapFrog's new Ask a Teacher campaign sees the firm ask teachers across the UK for their opinions on the LeapReader, highlighting it as a favourite among the education experts.
The firm has now already begun creating a series of short video testimonials for parents to view, collecting further feedback from teachers throughout the year.
Laura Albrecht, a London teacher involved in the campaign, praised the LeapReader for its engagement with children.
"The three learning apsects of LeapReader lets children go at their own pace. They can listen to how to form a letter, they can see a visual and they can also get tactile experience of doing it themselves," she said.
