ArcelorMittal Temirtau Schedules to Ship More Steel Production in Kazakhstan

It is reported that ArcelorMittal Temirtau, financed by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for health and safety improvements in its Kazakh coal mines and the largest steel mill in Kazakhstan has commented that it schedules to ship around 23,000 tons of rebar, 50,000 tons of square billets, 60,000 tons of hot rolled steel, 45,000 tons of cold rolled steel in November. ArcelorMittal Temirtau is a steel project completed by ArcelorMittal and supported by an EBRD and IFC syndicated loan of US$250 million. According to the data, for the first 10 months in 2012, ArcelorMittal Temirtau produced 2.7 million tons of crude steel, decreasing 15% year on year.
