A Textile Finishing Technology, as Well as The Newly Released Cotton-Like Fabric Naturlon

Chang-ho Fibre Corporation, one of the world’s most innovative textile companies and leader of textile innovation in Taiwan, presents ‘Particles Coating’, a new and 100% ecological textile finishing technology, as well as the newly released cotton-like fabric Naturlon.

Chang-ho will use the PERFORMANCE DAYS on November 12th to 14th, 2012 in Munich to showcase its innovation power regarding sustainability. The company will present a new textile finishing process called ‘Particles Coating’, which does not create any waste or pollution during the textile finishing process.

By placing functional particles into layers of fabrics, ecological problems which occur in the polymerization, spinning or finishing processes, can be solved. This technology can be utilized for various end-uses, such as anti-odor, far-IR, near-IR, negative-ion finishing and anti-collision etc. The result is an excellent finishing and a breakthrough for ecological goals in the dyeing and finishing industry.

Furthermore, Chang-ho will introduce its newly released fabric Naturlon, a cotton-like fabric that possesses the advantages from both cotton and nylon. Naturlon is a combined filament yarn that has a natural cotton feel. It offers 50+ UV protection and is very easy to clean.

Most of all: It is cheaper than cotton. Offering different denier variations (75D, 230D, 320D, 480D, 640D and 960D) and a series of different textures, Naturlon  can be used for a wide range of products for the daily life, such as sportswear, bags and even footwear.

• 50+ UV protection

• Crease-resistant

• Dries quickly

• Cotton touch

• Cheaper than cotton

• Various applications

The Chang-ho Fibre Corporation was established in 1983 by Richard Chen.
