NEMA's Electroindustry Business Conditions Index (EBCI) for current conditions in North America slipped in November, falling from 56.3 in October to 53.1, but showed signs of improvement in the business environment by remaining above the 50-point mark. In contrast, confidence in future business conditions increased in November. The EBCI for North American conditions six months hence inched upward to 81.3 from 71.9 in October.
