ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih's Steel Production Increased 3.8 Percent in Jan-Oct

In the first 10 months of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 5.3223 million mt, up 0.3 percent year on year, as announced by the company.

In addition, in the first 10 months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih saw a 3.8 percent increase year on year in its finished steel output to 4.6834 million mt, while its pig iron production decreased by 0.15 percent year on year to 4.6314 million mt.

In October alone, crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 3.5 percent to 558,400 mt, output of finished steel rose by 5.9 percent to 506,000 mt, while production of pig iron moved up by 4.2 percent to 484,500 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
