In the April-June quarter of the current year, the net loss of Russian steelmaker Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works (Ashinskiy) decreased by 33 percent compared to the previous quarter, declining to RUB 163.29 million ($4.964 million). In the January-June period of the current year, the net loss of the company amounted to RUB 408.1 million ($12.406 million), compared to a net profit of RUB 345 million ($10.488 million) in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, in Q2, Ashinskiy's sales revenues increased by 10 percent quarter on quarter to RUB 3.184 billion ($96.793 million). In H1, the company's sales revenues decreased by 25 percent year on year to RUB 6 billion ($182.399 million).
