Dynea Transferred Wood-Adhesives Business Into a Separate Partial Division Trading

Parallel to hiving off the phenolic-resin activities into Prefere Resins Company, Dynea transferred wood-adhesives business into a separate partial division trading as Dynea North during the course of the first quarter of 2013. Dynea North produces wood adhesives for interior and exterior applications at its own sites in Lillestr?m, Norway (Dynea AS), ?rhus and Ryomg?rd, Denmark (Nordalim AS), and Kazincbarcika, Hungary (Dynea Hungary Kft.). In addition, Dynea North markets wood adhesives manufactured by partner companies in Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Austria and Italy on the basis of tolling agreements. That subcontracted work is carried out by four former Dynea sites and an external partner in Italy. The Dynea sites are the plants in Erkner (Germany) and Hamina (Finland), which in the meantime have been hived off to PRC, as well as the Delfzijl plant in the Netherlands sold in September 2012 to ChemCom Investments and the Krems site in Austria which was taken over on 28 March 2013 by the Cypriot company Arirang Holdings.
