Lowe Alpine Announces Addition of Redline Sports Group to Small & Enthusiastic Sales Team

Lowe Alpine, manufacturer of innovative backpacks and apparel is pleased to announce the addition of Redline Sports Group to their small and enthusiastic sales team. The move helps to further consolidate the sales force of Lowe Alpine and Rab, Lowe Alpine’s sister brand. Redline has served as the Rockies representation for Rab since 2009 and now their efforts with Lowe Alpine will extend into Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico.

Founded in 2001, Redline Sports Group is made up of principal and founder Tim Hattrup, and reps Matt McKay and Thomas Seymour. All committed outdoor enthusiasts and devoted outdoor industry veterans, the three bring a deep understanding of the Rocky Mountain territory and a wealth of industry experience to the Lowe Alpine brand.

“We see a lot of potential in Lowe Alpine and are very excited to help bring this iconic brand back to the Rockies. In addition to having a strong foundation to work with and a great story to tell, Lowe Alpine’s packs and apparel are a perfect complement to the hard and softgoods offering from Rab.”said Hattrup.

When asked about the expanded partnership with Redline, Chris Tennal, Country Manager for Equip North America responded, “Redline’s reach in the region provides the perfect stage needed to grow the Lowe Alpine brand. We have been very pleased with their efforts with Rab and have really enjoyed working with them,” adding that, “Now we are excited to see what Lowe Alpine can achieve in their capable hands.” Redline will join the small and focused joint sales team of Lowe Alpine and Rab alongside Chris Ennis in the Pacific Northwest, Derek Humphrey in New England and the Atlantic coast, and Scott Curtis in the California region. Remaining territories will continue to be handled internally.

It’s been two years since Equip Outdoor Technologies, the parent company of Rab, completed the purchase of Lowe Alpine. In those two years, under the direction of Equip, Lowe Alpine has reworked its entire product line offering new categories of backpacks and apparel that speak to the North American consumer. With steady support from its UK headquarters, updated and relevant product, and now a fresh and dedicated sales team, Lowe Alpine is poised to hit the market running. The brand is confident that it now has the tools needed to take the brand to great heights.
