PAC Machinery, a manufacturer of equipment and materials for the flexible packaging industry, has integrated its Rollbag Systems R1275 automatic bagger with Data Detection Technologies’ advanced vision counting system.
The firm has configured its Rollbag R1275 automatic bagger with an advanced 3-D vision counting system from Data Detection Technologies.
Rollbag R1275 Vision is an accurate automatic bulk counting and bagging system for packaging small parts.
PAC Machinery Marketing vice-president Greg Berguig said: "Our Rollbag R1275 automatic bagger is extremely well adopted, and is in use around the globe.
"The marketplace has been seeking a counting, filling and bagging solution that is both faster and more accurate than scale-based counting systems, so integration of the vision system has been a high priority for our product development engineers."
PAC Machinery said that the compact Vision System features automatic bagger with an advanced vision system to count and bag large quantities of small parts quickly and accurately.
Using advanced mathematical algorithms, the machine counts bulk parts ranging in size from 0.25" to 1" at up to 99.9% accuracy.
Additionally, the Rollbag R1275 bagger can fill and seal bags significantly faster than manual packaging and is designed for multi-shift production.
Earlier this year, PAC Machinery unveiled Packaging Aids 552 Medical Band Sealer with a self-contained, UDI compliant print module designed for sealing medical devices in bags and pouches.
