The Sustainable Furnishings Council is joining forces with the World Wildlife Fund's Global Forest & Trade Network for an Aug. 15 webinar on responsible wood sourcing.
The webinar, which begins at 11 a.m. eastern time, is part of the SFC's monthly sustainability essential educational series.
The August webinar features Uan Le Cong, manager of the Global Forest & Trade Network. He will be discussing wood sourcing in Vietnam.
Topics will include best practices in supplier engagement, and the availability of products that are Forest Stewardship Council certified.
Le Cong will also discuss tools available from WWF to help companies understand global timber regulations and responsible forestry and trade practices.
