Super Pufft is voluntarily recalling Compliments brand Sensations Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn in Canada as the product contains milk which is not declared on the label, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The CFIA has issued an allergy alert, warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the product as it may lead to serious or life-threatening reaction.
The product being recalled is Compliments brand Sensations Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, sold in 297g packages, bearing UPC 6 23682 11058 6 and a lot code of BB/MA 2012 NO 06.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
Super Pufft, based in Mississauga, Ontario, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace, while CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
