Loblaw Is Voluntarily Recalling PC Brand Milk Chocolate

Canada-based retail chain Loblaw is voluntarily recalling President's Choice (PC) brand Milk Chocolate covered Raisins as the product contains almonds that is not mentioned on the label, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The product being recalled was sold in 908g packs and bears UPC 0 60383 98203 4 and best before date 15 July 2013.

The product might have been distributed across Canada and there have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of the recalled product.

CFIA advised consumers intolerant to almond not to consume this recalled product as it may result in serious or life threatening reaction.
