As far as KARL MAYER is concerned, Brazil belongs to the countries with high market potential and, this is the reason why this German textile machinery manufacturer is already making special preparations for its participation in the country’s leading trade fair of the year, the Tecnotêxtil.

The KARL MAYER Group will take part in Tecnotêxtil 2013 from 15 to 18 April on the stand of its Brazilian agency, Mayer do Brasil. The free-standing exhibition stand at the Expo Centre Norte in Sao Paulo covers an area of 216 m², being located at the intersection of streets 11 and 12 where they cross street 1.

The KARL MAYER stand attracts the visitors’ attention already from a long distance, due to its comprehensive range of exhibits.

One of the highlights is KARL MAYER’s third generation of HKS 3-M machines. This high-speed tricot machine belongs to the most versatile and most efficient models out of the wide-ranging portfolio of the world market leader in the field of warp-knitting machines.

The HKS 3-M has already made a name of itself especially in the production of marquisette fabrics for use as embroidery ground, textiles for the car industry, elastic and rigid sportswear fabrics as well as textiles for semi-technical applications, for example coating substrates for synthetic leather as well as mosquito nets.

During Tecnotêxtil this fast allround machine will be manufacturing a rigid plain fabric which can be used for flags and buntings.

The 180" wide machine in a gauge of E 28 will reach speeds of up to 2,900 min-1 – representing an increase in speed of about 15 % compared to its predecessor.

Besides, the visitors will also have the opportunity to see fabric samples, information material and have detailed discussions on the latest innovations from the sectors of textile development and manufacture of warp knitting machines.
