Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has launched a new upgraded version of its Indica eV2.
The new car is powered by a 1396 cc CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine that delivers 70 PS @ 4000 RPM with a torque of 140 Nm at a lower 1800-3000 RPM.
The company calims that the revamped hatchback is expected to offer a mileage of 25 km per litre.
Additionally, the hatchback will also be available with an MPFI petrol engine that delivers 65 PS with a torque of 99 Nm.
Both the engines of new Indica eV2 are mated to a five speed manual gearbox and are compliant with BS4 emission norms.
The new car is now available in three variants including, Tata Indica eV2 LE, LS and LX.
