Dispensing, coating and jetting technologies provider Nordson ASYMTEK is all set to demonstrate its SelectCoat SL-940E conformal coating system with dual applicators and a surface mount adhesive dispensing platform at SMT Hybrid Packaging.
The company will also exhibit its Spectrum S-920N platform with the new NexJet System with Genius Jet Cartridge.
According to Nordson, the SelectCoat coating system is used for productivity applications. It helps to monitor a range of conformal coating process parameters for statistical process control, including laser fan width, viscosity and flow.
Processes are maintained within limits automatically, process status is logged for traceability, and the exchange of information is possible with customer-specific factory information systems.
Nordson ASYMTEK's Select Cure UV-9 inline oven can be optimized for curing of parts up to 420mm, using ultraviolet light as the primary cure method.
The SMT Hybrid Packaging 2013 show is being held from 16-18 April in Nuremberg, Germany.
