LED chip packaging house Everlight Electronics had September 2013 consolidated revenues of NT$2.413 billion (US$80.7 million) hitting a monthly record for the third consecutive time, while LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Epistar saw revenues of NT$1.866 billion, decreasing 5.37% on month but up 3.23% on year, according to the companies.
Everlight's revenue growth was mainly due to booming shipments of LED lighting products including LED street lamps.
Everlight posted consolidated revenues of NT$7.012 billion for the third quarter, growing 17.42% sequentially, and NT$17.931 billion for January-September, hiking 28.18% on year.
Epistar's third-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$5.754 billion dipped 5.17% on quarter. January-September revenues were NT$16.146 billion 4.27% on year.
