Tata Motors Group Global Sales Have 12% Rise in May 2012 to 96,089 Units

Tata Motors Group global sales increased 12% in May 2012 to 96,089 units, including Jaguar Land Rover compared to May 2011.

Cumulative sales for the fiscal stood at 182,466 units, an increase of 7% compared to the corresponding period in 2011-12.

Global sales of all commercial vehicles comprising of Tata, Daewoo and the Hispano Carrocera range were 45,025 units in May 2012, an increase of 3%.

For the fiscal the company has seen a decrease of 3% in cumulative sales to 83,033 units.

Global sales of all passenger vehicles were at 51,064 units in May 2012, an increase of 21%, while cumulative sales for the fiscal are 99,433 units, an increase of 16%.

Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover in May 2012 were at 30,094 units, an increase of 35% over May 2011.

Jaguar sales for the month were 4,342 units, an increase of 3%, while Land Rover sales were 25,752 units, rise of 42%.

Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 55,237 units, an increase of 32%, while cumulative sales of Jaguar are 7,945 units, an increase of 9% and Land Rover are 47,292 units, a rise of 37%.
