FESPA 2015 will see world-renowned industry experts participate in its educational content program, taking place from May 18-22, 2015 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.
According to a FESPA press release, a robust line-up of world-renowned industry experts will host and participate in a range of sessions in the FESPA Education Hub.
The FESPA Education Hub, which visitors can attend for free, will present a mix of sessions focusing on the use of digital, screen and textile print technology for printers at all stages of adoption.
Attendees will have exclusive access to invaluable information addressing the whole art and science of wide format printing.
Theatre sessions will cover everything from the core basics to consider in garment, digital and screen printing and on how best to manage client expectations in a demanding market.
Sessions across the four days will include Colour Calibration for Digital Print Textiles by Scott Donovan from Bleuprint Creative and Marketing guide for printers who don’t do marketing by Print Consultant Neil Falconer.
It will also feature the recolouration of textile patterns by Marco Olivotto; The importance of picking the right heat press by Cris Saunders from Insta Graphic Systems; and Large Format Signage Printing by Dorin Pitigoi.
European Sign Expo 2015 will also feature dedicated seminars on both digital and traditional signage at its Sign Hub.
The seminars will include a Traditional Sign Painting workshop with hand-lettering expert Sam Roberts, Better Letters and Sign Tech Time and a panel discussion with industry consultant, Sophie Matthews-Paul.
The education session will also see global print trends with a focus on signage run by Dr. Sean Smyth of leading industry research company, Smithers Pira.
Further sessions include exploring the threats to the traditional signmaker with James Matthews-Paul, Editor of Output Magazine and a discussion about UK sign making regulations.
There will also be a daily ‘Ask the Experts’ panel forum. The forum will be a dedicated area where visitors and exhibitors can meet with industry experts and debate topics focused around digital signage.
The Printeriors Conference will take place on May 21 and seminars will be led by experts in the interior design and print industries to showcase to visitors how print can be exploited in the realm of interior decoration.
The conference will be led by English fashion designer and co-founder of Red or Dead, Wayne Hemingway.
Other sessions include: Insights into the growth and creative development of printing for interior markets; Creative solutions with digital printed fabrics and the recipe for discovery.
There will also be two panel discussions; the first will be the Printeriors 2015 exhibitors’ panel session, which will include contributions from speakers who have created showcase illustrations.
The ESMA Panel Session will be chaired by Peter Buttiens of ESMA looking at technologies and key players in this sector.
