Taiwan's Export Values of Iron and Steel and Articles Decreases by 6.4% Year on Year

According to data released by Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance, Taiwan’s export values of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel totaled US$1.45 billion, decreasing by 6.4% year on year but rising by 3.4% from a month ago.

Meanwhile, the country’s import values generated by iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel were at US$925.8 million, rising by 0.8% from the previous month but decreasing by 14.7% year on year.

In the first 7 months of this year, Taiwan’s export values of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel amounted to US$10.1 billion, falling by 5.5% year on year.
