Renz to Demonstrate New Additions at IPEX 2017

Renz has added the Argos F400 cold UV coating machine, and the Bindomatic Accel Cube and Accel Ultra thermal cover binding machines to its product portfolio.

The Argos F400 cold UV coating machine with innovative cold UV curing technology, will be exhibited at IPEX 2017 to be held at NEC, Birmingham, from 31 October to 3 November 2017. The Bindomatic machine will also be exhibited at Ipex.

The F400 flexible flat coating system, manufactured by Argos Solutions of Belgium, can be used in handfed, automatic and inline modes to digital print systems and can run at up to 45 m/minute or 6000 A3/hour and handle a maximum paper width of 400 mm.

The F400 also has an optional feeder/stacker, optional coating pre-heating, and IR Lamps. The price starts at £40,000, depending on the specifications.

The company will also display the new Bindomatic Accel Cube and Accel Ultra thermal cover binding machines. The thermal cover binding machine has been designed for the high-end user and can handle double the loading capacity and also reduce the processing time by half.

The A4 portrait bound handles 1 to 360 sheets of 80gsm paper and document spine widths from 1.5 to 36mm. The third-generation Accel Cube and Accel Ultra thermal cover binding machines are manufactured by Swedish firm Bindomatic. The Accel Cube costs £7,500. The Accel Ultra is priced at £12,500.

The Bindomatic device will be exhibited at The Print Show to be held at the Telford International Centre, UK, from October 11 to 13.

The Punch 500 heavy duty punch, AP 300 Compact automated punch, MOBI 500 semi-automated ring wire binding machine for books and calendars, Renz desktop DTP 340 semi-automated punch, ECL 360 electric Ring Wire closing machine will also be exhibited.

Renz UK managing director Iain Bullock said: “This machine has been the ‘go to’ coating machine for all the main digital players over the last couple of years, working beautifully behind the big digital presses, notably Indigo. We are delighted to be able to present it to the UK market for the first time.”
