BioClinica, a US-based provider of clinical trial management services, has announced the availability of BioClinica Express EDCplus.
Express EDCplus is a comprehensive EDC "technology transfer" program which helps organizations to control the development and implementation timelines of the technology they use to support their clinical trials.
Sponsors and CROs personnel can build Express EDC (electronic data capture) studies through the web-based EDCplus program.
The technology behind Express EDCplus was designed to allow non-technical research personnel to create and run studies with little or no programming effort.
BioClinica eClinical president Peter Benton said that the Express EDCplus has the potential to change the way sponsors and CROs use technology to run clinical trials.
"Express EDCplus lets designers take their trials from test to live in seconds with just one click and allows for easy, inexpensive mid-study changes," Benton added.
"Our study builder tool enables complex scenarios such as risk-based monitoring schedules, automated design validation rules that reduce the effort required to manage quality, and provides extensive support for corporate or industry standard design libraries."
Express EDCplus will deliver the same superior support and guidance associated with traditional Express studies, according to the company.
