Tamil Nadu Bakers'Federation India is planning to build a state-of-the-art food safety laboratory in India.
The laboratory,which will be located in Tuticorin,Tamil Nadu,will be built on the guidelines set by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories(NABL)-an autonomous body which provides third-party assessment of the quality and technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories in India.
The site will also feature a training centre,which would meet International School of Bakery Standard,reported Fnbnews.com.
According to the Federation,the site for the laboratory was sponsored by the directors of New Bakery Desotta-R Kaleeswaran and K Prem Radhika.
