Whole Foods Market Is Voluntarily Recalling Its Kitchen Soup

Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling its kitchen soup,which is labeled as Roasted Garlic and Eggplant Soup but contains Lobster Bisque,according to the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA).

The product being recalled was sold in 24oz.containers at all the Whole Foods Market stores in Massachusetts,Rhode Island,Maine,Connecticut,New York and New Jersey between 29 September and 2 October 2012.

Whole Foods Market said the signage has been placed at the affected stores in order to notify customers about this recall,and all affected products have been discarded from the shelves.

The company has warned consumers intolerant to shellfish or milk not to consume this product as it may result in serious or life threatening reaction.

It advised consumers to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
