With the coming of the maintenance season in summer, plus the lasting slack demand, the European domestic price of carbon steel flat product kept unchanged last week.
Market participant said that the market was very weak on a while last week and only few transactions fulfilled.
It is said that the hot rolled coils (HRC) was quoted at US$594~US$600/ton ex. mill and US$548~US$594/ton ex. mill in Northern Europe and Southern Europe respectively.
In addition, cold rolled coils (CRC) was quoted at US$704~US$724/ton ex. mill and US$665~US$711/ton ex. mill in Northern Europe and Southern Europe respectively.
