Specialist sheet-feed printing firm Buxton Press has installed Heidelberg’s folding machines, as part of its efforts to increase overall productivity.
The company replaced four folding machines with two new Stahlfolder TH 82-P machines.
Since January, the first buckle plate folding machine has commenced operations, while second will become operational in this month.
Stahlfolder TH/KH 82-P machine is said to work on the shingled folding principle, which will help to process on the same line.
The new folding machines will compliment four Speedmaster XL 106 eight and ten-color machines with perfecting device and CutStar for better output process.

Stahlfolder folding machines enables to produce high productivity for a wide product range. Stahlfolder KH 66 and Stahlfolder KH 82 are folding machines that are designed to meet all production requirements.
These machines can be used can be used to produce different range of products, including booklets and books. In addition, the machines can be used in different commercial job applications.

“At drupa 2016, we saw the new Stahlfolder TH/KH 82-P folding machine generation and knew straight away that postpress has now also developed significantly in terms of technology.
