2012 Flat Glass Enterprise & Industry Situation Symposium organized by China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association was held on November 5, 2012 in Wuhan, Hubei. Directors from 23 glass enterprises attended the symposium. Senior Vice Chairman & Secretary-General of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, Zhang Baiheng delivered speech during the symposium. He analyses running condition of flat glass industry, he also pointed out that the industry is now faced with pressure of excess capacity and price decline, discussing the contradictions of industry development and economic operation. The symposium was hosted by Zhou Zhiwu, Deputy Secretary General of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association.
Participants exchange the recent economic operation situation of the industry, discussed the condition of production, management, inventory and projects. They analysed future development trend of the industry, put forward with outstanding problems and contradictions during industry development and economic operation. The enterprises also culminated in consensus on standardizing market order, safeguarding the interests of the whole industry, transforming the way of development and realizing healthy and steady development of the industry.
