It’s reported that the local government of Dak Nong Province in Vietnam has approved the project proposal of electrolytic aluminum plant located in Nhan Co Industrial Zone.
With an approximately US$240 million investment, the plant will cover an area of 120 hectares.
The project is divided in two phases. The annual capacity for phase one is 300,000 tons per year, while phase two will double that figure.
Vietnam is a country with great potential of bauxite in the region and the world with reserves of over 5.4 billion tons of raw bauxite concentrating mostly in the Central Highlands and especially in the areas of Dak Nong province.
