Shagang Announces to Raise Its Rebar Ex-Work Prices by RMB50/Ton

It’s reported that the Chinese steelmaker Shagang announced to raise its rebar ex-work prices by RMB50/ton for the deliveries during August 1st and 10th.

Meanwhile, the company has hiked its rebar prices for consecutive three times.

After the adjustment, its prices for HRB400 rebar with diameter of 16mm-25mm are at RMB3,640/ton; those of HRB335 rebar with diameter of 16mm-25mm are at RMB3,610/ton, with 17% VAT.

Besides, Shagang has hiked its rebar ex-work prices by a total of RMB180~RMB200/ton in mid and late July.
