Toyota Motor Corp is recalling 803,000 of its 2012 and 2013 sedans around the world due to potential problems with air conditioning condensers.

The notice, released by Toyota on Thursday, affects mostly its Camry models.

The company revealed the issue has led to two “minor” injuries, but no accidents.

A spokesperson for Toyota in Australia told CarAdvice this morning that Australian vehicles are not affected by the recall.

Globally, the recall involves about 885,000 Camry, Avalon and Venza sedans, including 44,000 in Canada, 10,600 in Mexico, 9,100 in Saudi Arabia and the rest scattered among 15 other countries.

According to Toyota’s notice, water from the condenser can leak onto the airbag control module, which could trigger the airbag to deploy suddenly.

Toyota also raised concerns the power steering may be affected by a leaky condenser.
