Ukraine's Crude Steel Production Will Fall by an Estimated 1.6 Percent

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in March this yearUkraine's crude steel production will fall by an estimated 1.6 percent compared to January this year to 2.8 million mt.

According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.540 million mt in March, up 1.7 percent compared to January, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total2.550 million mt, up one percent compared to January.

In February, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.540 million mt of crude steel, 2.310 million mt of pig iron and 2.3 million mt of rolled steel.
