Samsung has failed in its bid to get an injunction against its Galaxy tablet overturned in the US.
The injunction was placed before the recent court case that the company decisively lost to Apple–although the Galaxy tablet was not one of the devices found to be infringing Apple's intellectual property by the California court.

In an order delivered by Judge Lucy Koh,who presided over the intellectual property infringement trial between Apple and Samsung last month,Samsung's motion to get a sales ban on its tablet overturned was denied.
Koh claimed a"lack of jurisdiction"pending a mandate from the Federal Circuit.
The injunction had been granted in June ahead of the trial between the two companies on the premise that it would be reversed if the trial found it non-infringing.
Surprisingly,while a slew of Samsung products were found to infringe Apple's patents,the Galaxy tablet was found to be one that didn't.
"The jury's verdict demonstrates that Apple's predictions about what the jury would do as to the D'889[patent]were wrong and that the injunction entered on that basis therefore can no longer be maintained,"Samsung wrote in its August filing to get the injunction dissolved.
The legal shenanigans in the US,though,have not slowed down Samsung's release roadmap.It is planning to release its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone in March 2013 during the Barcelona-based MWC 2013 convention.
It will,reportedly,offer a five-inch screen(compared to the 4.8-inch screen of the Galaxy S3 and the four-inch display of Apple's freshly launched iPhone 5),global support for 4G networks and a quad-core microprocessor.
