Aluminum foil tray supplier in the UK Nicholl Group has restructured its manufacturing activities in an attempt to deliver better production efficiencies as well as improved customer service.
As part of the restructuring,the company completed the transfer of production facilities from its Bachmann,Germany site into its UK(Nicholl Food Packaging)and French(Ecopla)operations and moved the Bachmann's warehouse and distribution activities and retail packing operation to Ecopla Benelux(in Belgium).
Nicholl Group chief executive John Griffiths said the company can ensure that it maximises its quality as well as its ability to provide a flexible supply to customers throughout Europe,by improving its manufacturing facilities in the UK and France.
"We have a well-earned reputation for supplying a wide choice of high quality products combined with excellent customer service,but in these challenging times,customers are also looking for the best possible cost competitiveness,"Griffiths said.
Bachmann,which is retaining its sales and administration offices in Germany,will focus on developing its presence in German,Eastern European and Scandinavian markets further.
