Nespresso Has Unveiled Its Newest Line-up of Capsule Coffee Machines

A year after inking a deal with new machine partner Breville, Nespresso has unveiled its newest line-up of capsule coffee machines, due to hit the market in time for Mother’s Day. Produced for the Australian market in association with Breville and long-time machine partner De’Longhi, the Inissia machine brings a compact form factor to the existing Nespresso line-up, as well as a light-weight design (weighing in at approximately 2.4 kilograms).

Also sure to please retailers is the design: with six colours for consumers to choose from, the machines will be a welcome addition to brighten up retail stores and to cater to the growing consumer trend towards coloured appliances. The Inissia is available from Breville in White, Ruby Red and limited edition Blue Sky, and from De’Longhi in Vanilla Cream, Black and limited edition Summer Sun.

According to John Ciaglia, commercial manager for Nespresso Australia and Oceania, the range is being targeted at a young demographic (namely 25 to 35 year olds) giving these consumers their first Nespresso experience and “the start of a passion”.At RRP $249 the price tag also brings the machine into the “value for money” segment according to Ciaglia, thereby “bringing Nespresso within the reach of young consumers”.

The full range will once again be supported by a $60 cash back campaign in the lead-up to Mother’s Day, as well as in-store demonstrations, in-mall activity and a strong social media campaign. The Nespresso Inissia will be available from today, for RRP $249.
