CITEXPO is the largest tire show in the region, according to the show organizer. In addition to manufacturers from China, exhibitors came from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Korea, Thailand, India, Australia, The Netherlands, Italy, Singapore and Taiwan.
Reliable International Exhibition Services Co. Ltd., organizer of the 11th annual China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO), says more than 7,000 members of the global tire industry attended the event.
Highlights of the 2013 edition of CITEXPO held Sept. 4-6 in Shanghai are:
* 7,303 registered visitors;
* 4,263 domestic visitors;
* 3,040 (101 countries) foreign visitors;
* 335 exhibitors;
* 24,000 square meters of exhibition space;
* 190 exhibitors rebooked during the show for next year's show; and
* 80% exhibition space sold for next year during this year's show.
The organizer says this year's show was a tremendous success with most of the exhibitors increasing their exhibit space aggressively to accommodate more high-valued professional buyers, enhance their company image and maximize the opportunity to accomplish more trade orders.
