Spacelabs Healthcare, a division of OSI Systems, has received $2m contract to provide its patient monitoring and connectivity solutions to a prominent Texas medical center.
The Texas medical center will replace its existing equipment in the intensive care, cardiac critical care, and telemetry areas with its Ultraview telemetry transmitters as well as Spacelabs' new qube and Xprezzon patient monitors, to help improve care and increase efficiencies.
The center will also deploy Spacelabs' ICS G2 enterprise connectivity solution to provide clinicians with patient monitoring data when and where it is needed.
OSI Systems CEO Deepak Chopra said, "Spacelabs uniquely features an open architecture/industry standard solution, which is simpler to deploy and implement, and will make the most of this medical center's existing IT infrastructure."
Spacelabs offers modular, configured monitors and telemetry systems which help in decision-making and also provide immediate access to patient data when and where needed, thus improving patient care.
