Independent retailer, Toy Hub has initiated a new system to help kids work out their mental arithmetic and drive its own sales forwards.
The toy shop, based in Dunblane, Scotland, has made the decision to drop the .99 price point and round its pricing up to clear numbers.
Toy Hub owner, Helen Gourley, said: "We noticed that kids were struggling with the .99 pricing system adopted by most shops.
"It just made it harder for them to work out how much they were spending when picking up more than one product."
And the company has reported a great response from kids and parents alike, with comments from many that it makes life much simpler for them.
Gerard Gourley from Toy Hub, commented: "It's an easy change to make that has had a huge impact on our customers - we've now made it permanent."
