A New and Advanced Data Logger Is The Latest in a Series of Technological Developments

A new and advanced data logger is the latest in a series of technological developments to be unveiled by a leading medical refrigeration manufacturer, Lec Medical. Suitable for pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories and clinics, this latest device comes complete with LCD screen and has been specifically designed to meet the increased demand for accurate temperature monitoring devices. It also boasts calibration capabilities.

Capable of measuring and storing up to 16,378 temperature readings over a -35 to +80°C (-31 to +176°F) range, this standalone data logger enables the user to easily set up the logging rate and start-time. Stored data can then be downloaded by plugging the data logger into a PC’s USB port and running the purpose designed software under Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7. Data can be graphed, printed and exported to other applications.

A high contrast LCD displays a variety of temperature information, and at the touch of a button, the user can cycle between the current, maximum and minimum stored temperatures. In addition to user-programmable alarm thresholds, the data logger also enables immediate, delayed and push-to-start logging.

Lec Medical’s Brand Manager, Carolyn Holland commented: “We are delighted to offer an advanced data logger that is capable of calibration and is in keeping with MHRA guidelines for the manual and electronic measuring of recording devices. As well as the added benefit of an LCD screen, this latest device provides more comprehensive temperature logging and mapping.”

Carolyn added: “As with all Lec Medical products, the new data logger comes at an affordable price without compromising on design or performance.”

The data logger comes complete with a long-life lithium battery, which can typically allow logging for up to one year and it is protected against moisture to IP67 standard when the protective cap is fitted.
